Ridgmar: J. Marvin Leonard's Country-Club Community With Two Pipe Generations Underground

Ridgmar was developed by department-store magnate J. Marvin Leonard, who bought the 1,200-acre tract from the Amon G. Carter estate in 1955–56 and started construction in 1957.
